Receive Energy Credits on your Electric Bill with Net Metering
When your solar panels produce more electricity than you use, you will benefit from net metering. Net metering is an agreement between customers and their electric utility which allows excess energy to be banked as credits on a homeowner’s electric bill. When solar panels produce excess electricity it is sent back to the power grid and used to offset energy usage later.
The net metering program is changing January 1, 2022 and will change how solar panel owners will be compensated for excess electricity. Good news, any rooftop solar installations that apply for interconnection with the local electric utility prior to January 1, 2022 will be grandfathered in at current rates.1 But you must sign up now!
There has never been a better time to go solar.
• Additional flexible financing options available • Integrated battery backup systems • Historically low solar panel costs • Free home solar analysis • No contact consultations
