___The Center for Social Enrichment and Educational Development offers an intensive therapeutic summer program that is designed to promote educational, behavioral, and social skills in a supportive, caring environment. The program takes place in our Stamford location, which includes individual therapy rooms, including a sensory gym and use of current i-Pad technology.
theParticipants will receive a comprehensive and individualized therapeutic program, specifically designed to meet each child’s unique needs. Licensed and/ or certified staff, including Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist and Special Educators will provide all sessions. Service providers work as a transdisciplinary team and will review the child’s Individualized Education Plan and progress reports in order to incorporate target goals into the daily program.
theEach child’s program will incorporate intensive behavioral intervention utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis. In addition,
specialized curriculum that emphasizes social, language and communication skills will be incorporated into the daily schedule. Recreation therapy and social skills will
increase socialization and leisure skills.
